# Step-by-step guides: learn strategies by example

This map shows which step-by-step guide to open for any goal in **AI Strategy Studio** so you can build your strategy with AI in seconds, test it, run it on a virtual account or a real account, and compare your real result against untampered execution in **AI Trading Journal**.

## Your first complete strategy

If you are new to strategies, follow these five guides in order:

1.  [Build your first strategy from your trading style](<https://app.forecastcity.com/help/strategies/first-strategy-from-style>). Click **St. Studio** to open AI Strategy Studio, start from one of the four standard trading styles or the default **4CastMachine AI strategy** template (or answer the 10-question **Find your style** quiz) and create your strategy.
    
2.  [Set up your entry and stop loss](<https://app.forecastcity.com/help/strategies/entry-and-stop-loss-setups>). Set your entry condition and stop loss level on the **Build** tab and adjust their lines on the chart with your mouse.
    
3.  [Set up single and multi-target take profit](<https://app.forecastcity.com/help/strategies/take-profit-setups>). Add one to five price targets (`TP1` to `TP5`) and choose the percentage closed at each target.
    
4.  [Run your strategy live on a virtual account](<https://app.forecastcity.com/help/strategies/run-strategy-on-virtual-account>). On the **Run** tab (under **Virtual account**), run your strategy in the live market with virtual money and real trading costs.
